Inaugural Entrance into Kenya
According to research and the mission of First Lady Kenyatta, the mortality of Kenyan children under the age of five is atrocious. Though the causes of death are variable, we are aware that children with craniofacial birth defects will be a part of those statistics. These children require assistance with feeding. They are also subject to frequent ear and respiratory infections. The birth process may have been traumatic which also leads to uncertainty in their future and health.
Those numbers can drastically improve with the life-transforming craniofacial surgery. The whole course of the child's life can change with the proper nutrition, health and education.
The mission team from Vietnam, India, Zimbabwe and the USA will converge in Kenya, prepared to help as many children as possible with free facial surgery. While you may not be able to attend this mission, you can be a part and send a team member, or sponsor a child's surgery. Thank you for joining the effort and the work!
