You can imagine the sadness I felt after I heard that my President was going to speak at a gala for Planned Parenthood Thursday April 25. In light of the recent Gosnell trial (i refuse to call him 'doctor'), and the torturous, inhuman murders committed at the abortion clinic, why would my president honor Planned Parenthood with a keynote address?
Thankfully, there was a change of heart. I know it's because of YOU, dear readers, who have interceded on behalf of the unborn, and on behalf of our president. I pray there will be more changes to come.
I also could not help but think of Pastor Louis Giglio and the gay activists who basically forced him to decline the offer to pray at the presidential inauguration in January. And I'm sure you have heard about the student uproar at Johns Hopkins, when Dr. Ben Carson was supposed to be the key speaker at the commencement. They were 'offended' by his traditional definition of marriage.
My thought was these activists can protest their choice of speakers and leaders for public events, and use their first amendment rights to do so. Can I not exercise MY rights and voice my opinion that I am deeply distressed that my president would deign to lower his standards by speaking for the number one abortion provider that promotes the same horrors visualized in Philadelphia's "house of horrors."
I will exercise my right! I urge you to do the same! Enough is enough, and it is PAST time to wake up and express and fight for the same unalienable rights that each citizen of the USA has. That includes the vulnerable and voiceless unborn. Come on and Let's GO!!
Because EVERY child matters!!
