As we were leading worship this morning, I could not even sing the words to "Made Me Glad" by Hillsong. Once I sang the words, "you have set my feet upon the rock," I began to weep. The spirit of the Lord was just moving in that place. Even when I feel like Joseph, from Genesis 37, trapped in a pit in that dark and lonely place, and with so many questions, when I know that God has given me a vision and dream concerning Philip's life but no results are evident....yes, My God has set my feet on the rock. While we were worshipping, the Lord reminded me of Philip's promise verse for 2010. Jeremiah 32:27, I am the God of ALL flesh, is there anything too hard for me?
Yes, He is the God of all flesh, even Philip's flesh, this little crooked back. He is the God of his flesh, and there is nothing too hard for my God!
I will rest in knowing this. No matter what, the vision, the call on Philip's life will come to pass. While in that "pit" experience, may we all have the strength and humility to NOT ask questions or complain, but to put our hope in Him, and not in men. People will fail us, but our God is the same yesterday, today and forever! How great is our God!
God bless!
