When a natural disaster strikes, some of the "first responders" are human traffickers. They prey on the vulnerable, and exploit their bodies for the basic human needs of food, water and shelter. Too many children have been lost, displaced or orphaned after a disaster, and evil works to take advantage and destroy their lives. LWR's vision is to end human trafficking and prevent it before it starts. When the immediate rescue is completed, and deployed teams return home, there is still much repair and restoration that has to take place in the community that has suffered loss.
