"Create a Smile Without Reason" Campaign

All over the world, children are born with severe craniofacial deformities--deformities of the bones in the skull or face. In fact, as many as one in 700 births result in cleft lip and/or palate.

Many of these children suffer complex health issues in addition to facing social rejection, neglect, and physical or emotional abuse; some are even killed upon birth.

Until now, corrective surgery was not widely possible for cases that went beyond cleft lip and/or palate.  With current medical advances, however, children with more severe deformities have cause to hope!

At LWR, we are working to make that hope a reality for as many children as possible. The Create A Smile Without Reason campaign is a national initiative to raise awareness as well as funding for children requiring complex craniofacial surgeries.

Our goal is to raise $2500 per child for 200 children — a total of $500,000.

On our part, LWR will manage all the details involved in the set up of surgeries. To begin with, we will compile teams of skilled surgeons as well as other noted health professionals who best understand patients suffering from craniofacial deformities. Also, we will work with reputable hospitals to provide the finest, most accessible locations. Lastly, we will ensure that each child receives the best in pre and post operative care. LWR will qualify children whose parents have no financial means to afford a surgery. Parents that long to see their children smile with hope.
